I only have 3 more full days of work until I am off for Christmas vacation--it can't come a MINUTE too soon! My boss has been in a foul mood since Thanksgiving and it's only getting worse. I typically arrive to work in a decent mood and must put up my "shield" on a daily basis to keep from falling into his pit of darkness. We are not getting any bonuses this year but I am happy to have a job in this economy.
I don't usually buy mistletoe nor do I drink egg nog unless it's Silk brand as I am lactose intolerant. I don't drink alcohol either---however, I may just eat some extra holiday treats in order to keep my sanity for the next few days. :)
Once I leave the office, I will have a joyous holiday season with my family. We will have a pre-Christmas get-together with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson this Sunday. I am baking and taking some food for us to eat. She loves my pork chops and doesn't cook them for herself. Since she is pregnant, I am happy to oblige. I am also making a confection called buckeyes and a family fav called date squares.
My husband had to leave for Montreal this morning as we had a death in the family--I feel bad that I couldn't accompany him but we just don't have the funds and I have work obligations .
All in all, I think it will be a lovely holiday. Wishing you and yours the best holidays ever!!!

Most bosses do not know how annoying they can be sometimes to those people who keep them in business. My hiding place used to be my computer screen I just won't stop working and hardly can wait for the arm of the clock to move on to 5.30pm whenever am faced with his attitude.
