How Quickly the Seasons Pass

Seems like it was just last Easter and I was posting about our new arrival, our granddaughter, Mia. She will turn 1 year old next week. Life continues to whoosh by as I get older. Thanksgiving and Christmas roll together- then comes Valentine's Day and before you know it it's the fourth of July.
This new year has started out on a relatively good note. After surviving 2009, I figured we could get through anything that this year threw at us.
I took a mental health day off from work today. I've been at my new job for 7 months and have been working very hard to learn the in's and out's of the business. I was not familiar with the accounting software at this new job and had to fly by the seat of my pants as the previous bookkeeper had already left and there was no one to train me. Our CPA doesn't know the software at all. I have managed, though.
I just felt plain old worn out tired this morning. I am sitting here sipping coffee and watching an old Ginger Rogers movie on TV. A cool breeze is blowing through the window over my shoulder and I plan on enjoying this day- in this season of my life.
